I got this game for my daughters (now 10 and 14) and it is a riot! You do have to have 3 or 4 players to play but you can't beat the fun! Even Dad, who does NOT play games joined in on this one. The concept is very simple, you try to get matches, if you do you hit your hand down (last one down picks a card) if you don't you can try to fake out the others so you have to pay attention. We got this for Christmas and my 8 year old daughter loves making the aliens and playing with this toy. It is not too messy and does not take too long. The case that comes is blue with Lamb and Iguana figures. I specifically ordered this one for my niece because the picture shows it as a pink case with Dog and Cat figures (her cousin already has the blue one and I didn't want them to get mixed up). Amazon said they can't control what color is sent, but they would let me return it and refund my money. When I contacted the seller, they wouldn't intervene at all since the order is fulfilled through Amazon. I took a chance and ordered a second one, but the second one was the same as the first - blue with the Lamb and Iguana. First, I have to say that I loved playing Operation when I was a kid. Now I love playing with this pen as the big kid I am at 42.

My sister got this for me as a birthday present, because she knew I loved playing this game. I am so glad she bought this for me, as I really enjoy how cute it is; and it is also a challenge to try to get all the bones out with the tiny tweezers without getting "buzzed".

I would not purchase this for a child with the expectation that they will not break either the tweezers or the little plastic bones which are attached to the interior of the pen with what looks like fishing line. I have had my pen, intact, for the past 3 years. I don't try to pull the bones out too far, or pull out the tweezers too far from the top of the pen. I agree with the other reviewer who said that adults would probably appreciate it more than kids.

I also think the pen itself is a nice writing instrument. Not the best quality but pretty good. I use it at my desk daily.

Overall, I think this is a fun pen, and I would recommend it to any other big kid out there who enjoys the game.

I am a scrabble fan and the only thing with this particular game is that the board is too flimsy. Otherwise, it is a great table top decoration and it will be used when traveling. Better than the tiny travel scrabble. But as I said, the board is not good because it folds and does not lay flat when using.

After reading the reviews for this toy on Amazon my wife and I bought it for our 11mo old son. Once we assembled it and he started playing problems started popping up. It seems durable, but time will tell.

Cons- The seat cant be removed by a small child, even I had trouble pressing in on the pins to remove it.
The frame of the truck sits so low that it get caught on the carpet making it hard to push.

I have three children 2,5,and 6. We have several board games. This one is perfect for my son who is almost 2-1/2. Perfect means that it is challenging and educational for him. The ducks have a color on the bottom of their eggs, which you need to match with the color on your "nest." He has learned when to stop his turn and allow me to take my turn. He has learned patience. The game was enjoyed by a 4-year old friend too. I enjoyed interacting with my son and playing the game too. We bought this for our two children for Christmas and it has been played with everyday -- literally. It keeps the children occupied and entertained while also allowing them to use their imagination (which seems to be a dying thing in a world full of computers and video games) and develop their creativity.

This game could be vaguely compared to a RollerCoaster Tycoon themed Monopoly. The idea is interesting and fun - you operate rides and attractions to please the most guests. The many colors and cool props add to the fun of the game. If you are fmailiar with the PC game, I would strongly reccommend this product. The only drawback is the set up.
