Star Wars Princess Leia that was available at the San Diego, California Comic Con 2005. It is a exclusive figure that was also available on a Star Wars site and I just received information that she is exclusive to K-Marts in Australia. The back of the card depicts Princesss Leia from Episode IV - Star Wars A New Hope. Luke Skywalker is inside of Ben Kenobi's home on the planet of Tatooine. Ben tinkers with R2-D2 and the holographic image of a young Princess Leia desperately asks for Ben's assistance in the battle against the Galactic Empire.

She comes in a nice Purple color and stands approximately three inches (3") tall. I have noticed that the case she came in does have space for her to hold a blaster/pistol but she was issued without one. A fairly easy item to find on ebay right now.

This is great for little ones. It says 3+ but my 2 year old loves it and it is the perfect height for her. I don't think set this will last more than a few years for her. It looks like other people gave the toy low ratings because they paid too much for it on Amazon.
We got it for $15 at Walmart and the our 2.5 year old LOVES it.
It is good quality and lots of fun. He plays with his cars and trucks on it, but also sometimes "walk" the roads.
Just out of the packaging the rug was very wrinkled, but within a day it smoothed out and now looks great.

I purchased this game for my daughter who just turned 4. She loves polar bears and have been working on our abcs. When I first saw this game, I was excited. Finally an alphabet game that uses lower case letters. My daughter knows all the upper case, but is still working on lower case. It also claimed to be a spelling game. When I brought the game home my daughter was excited, that was until we began to play. Although it is a cute idea, the game is WAY to simple to keep a young child interested.

Here is how you play...
* You pick one word card, and you take turns fishing for letters.
* After you caught a letter, you determined if it was in the word you were trying to spell. If it is, you place it on the word card. If not, it goes into the cast out pond.
* Everyone playing takes turn fishing for letters for the same word.
* The winner is the person who places the last letter on the word.
* The winner then get to put the polar bear in the ice pond for a swim.

My problems with this game included...
* For an alphabet game, they should have had all the letters in the alphabet. There were only the 13 letters needed to make the words on the word cards. Even if the letters were never to be used, it would be nice to have them all in a pre-school alphabet game. Children could name the letter and put it in the cast out pond and learn all the lower case letters.
* The magnets on the letters were not strong. Often if you caught a letter, it would fall of the magnetic pole as the letter broke through the "ice". Frustrating for young children.
* The game is way to simple. Not strategy at all and the winner is left completely up to chance. After spelling one word, my daughter who LOVES board games was done and asking for a different game.
* For a spelling game, I would have expected the words to be high frequency words (words that are found most often in print). The words seemed to be randomly chosen, such as pie and snail.

If I had it to do all over again, I wouldn't have bought this game. I see it going into the closet and not getting much use. My daughter at the end of the game just wanted to take the polar bear out and play with him. :-)Get more detail about Cranium Polar Bear A-B-C.

I bought this for my 8 year old son for Christmas. It is a really cool toy. R2D2 listens to voice commands, he plays hide-and seek, and even dances. R2D2 will even go on patrol, and alert you if someone enters the room. We have had R2 for almost a year now, and my son still enjoys him. Board games are fun for children of all ages and teaches them how to take turns, count money,learn patience and have fun at the same time. It's fun for the whole family... much better than a child playing video games alone.

This is a pretty fun 2-player game. Hobby gamers won't have any trouble with it, although kids who are only used to traditional games like Candyland or Go Fish may need a little adult help to learn it. It includes basic and advanced rules, so you can try the simple version (which leaves out some of the cards) first. Note that gameplay is nearly identical to Clash of the Lightsabers Star Wars Card Game. The main difference (aside from the theme and artwork) is that this game doesn't include pewter miniatures for keeping score -- you just flip scoring cards to track that. Also, this game uses illustrations while the Star Wars game had movie stills on the cards. On the plus side, this game will fit in your pocket.

I was able to play this with my preschooler (who plays a lot of games and is into anything Transformers) by taking out all the cards with text on them and just playing with the number cards. I'll add in the others once he can read them.

Only positives to report on this awesome zip-up version. We've played it in a car, in a plane, in a bed, on a couch and at the table. No-maintenance, quality entertainment.
It is well-made. A felt-lined playing area with raised sides holds the leather(-ette?), felt-lined shaker when it's not in use. The good-sized, ivory-colored dice can be stored on the side of this space, either during play (No more, "Wait, was that a two or a six?") or for storage. Original shiny, black "Yahtzee" pencil included, along with storage holder for it and the score pad. This thing is space-station ready.
My son and I have been playing since he was 5. I am not an educator yet I do reckon that he's learned something from it: strategic thinking (comparison to past games on his score sheet, into which slot does the roll fit best, how likely am I to get another roll like this in the turns I have left, etc.); the math of the individual rolls as well as of the end-of-the-game sums; last but not least, he's learning the poker hands. This edition of Monopoly is awesome. I really like the property holder, it really helps keep things organized. I played the Here and Now version recently and hated it. The money is just so confusing. I think the smallest bill was like $10000. The colors were similar and just playing it made me miss the original version. Don't be fooled by the packaging, the fact that it's a movie tie-in game, etc. This is a very nice card game! It has the feel of a "German" style game with easy-to-comprehend instructions (a little booklet dominated by layout diagrams more than text), two attractive decks of cards (one for Qui-Gon and one for Darth Maul), and a couple matching, "collectible" pewter figures. In our family we have played UPWORDS forever and love it! It's fun for all ages and more challenging than Scrabble. However, this new version is not so nice. Instead of the wonderful old wooden tiles which were large enough to manipulate easily, we now have scaled down size with plastic tiles that are awkward and clumsy, especially for elderly hands. Please, Hasbro, bring back the old version. What were you thinking?

my kids actually enjoy playing this game but I find it so annoying I encourage them to do something else. you have to use the remote far too often, and our DVD player is situated above the TV so the kids holding the remote doesn't work. Its just too cute. Tooooooo cute, when it wiggles its ears and tilts its head from a good petting. My sister loves, she's been playing with it for a while, and became even more attached when I gave her some gemstone stickers and gold seals to stick on it. The learning curve is a bit high for too young of kids, but I guess that's half the fun. Figuring out how to start the memory "simon"-like game (pet it until a circle appears and then press one of them??) or scratch tunes (only when its attached to an mp3 player?) And my mom and sister love telling me not to pull its tail unless a player is attached or "robo jones will get mad". (The thing is SCARY!) If my sister forgets to turn it off, my mom asks my sister to "check on the cat" which of course needs his nose held down to turn off. The cat has become something like a part of the family that needs taking care of.

Not many problems yet. Haven't had to change it's batteries yet, so I don't know how long they last, but its been a while so far. There's a small crack in the plastic coating for inexplicable reasons. Seems a little delicate for rough play, but totally worth the money that the family spent on it. Friends of mine needed a game to play for a small party, someone brought Shout at the Movies . This trivia was fun for a DVD game. However, Many like me who are film buffs felt the game was slightly dumb down for a youth market.

My suggestion is make a game with older movies. This edition seems for for more for families running mainly 1980-present films

Now to the good points, it is a fast paced trivia game that keeps score for the players and lets you know where you stand after each round. It is a group game, so great fun family and friends
