I got this doll to potty train my 2 years old daughter as it was advised by Dr. Phill show. As soon as you give the bottle to the doll, it starts leaking unlike the description says that the doll would let you know before it goes. It cries before actual peeing and my daughter got upset with the fact that baby cries. I don't think if it worth the price they are asking for. My daughter begged for Smores for almost a year and we surprised her with it last Christmas. She is still on love with her, she talks about her to strangers we meet and can't wait to get home to her after school. Everyday Smores has a new accessory and a new adventure. My daughter and smores will be rounding up stuffed animals one day and then the next she will be a circus horse with a hat. She has brought my daughters imagination to a all time high. I would not say this toy has an educational edge but it encourages the imagination play. I only gave three stars on durability because the neck is not as strong as I would like it to be. With my daughter and now son playing and climbing on the horse daily it is not broken but just she just seems like her head flops sideways a little more than it used to. I am sure that is due in part by our Smores wearing a miniature horse halter and lead rope...I can only imagine my daughter trying to "lead" her. I know the price is high but I would buy this for her again in a heartbeat. This is without a doubt her favorite toy and one I hope she looks back on her childhood fondly. My daughter is now 4 and an avid horse lover. I would recommend this one to anyone who has a horse lover in their life but can not afford to get them the real horse they want so badly. Okay, so for starters, I'm a huge Indy fan. I have waited a long time for an Indiana Jones action figure line with decent quality and many characters, and since I've collected Star Wars figures forever, I actually wanted them to be this 3 3/4 size too (granted, I prefer my other collectible figures to be 6 inches or so, but I don't usually get accessories or playsets for those). Well, with the 4th Indy film, which is way underrated in my opinion (fellow longtime fans should give it a second viewing before deciding yea or nay; I had to warm up to it myself but love it now), that long dreamed of action figure line finally arrived from Hasbro... to mixed reactions. I'm sure many complaints were about the small size of the figures compared to the now more popular 6 inch or larger action figures out there for adult collectors these days. And, let's face it, most Indy fans are adults who grew up with the original films. However, I think what put most people off of this new line is that many, MANY figures were released to stores with awful paint jobs. I mean TERRIBLE paint jobs, specifically in terms of the eyes. This was most noticeable in the Raiders figures, and Indiana more than anyone.

Now, in my case, I wanted to wait and make sure they made more figures, and I wanted to see if the price wouldn't go down a bit too. Figures are way overpriced these days. But, once I saw Last Crusade figures on the shelves (along with a price drop of a couple of bucks), I dived in. A few of those first figures I bought I have previously reviewed, and let me tell ya, those ones I selected had excellent face sculpts! Of course, with huge, cartoony eyes painted on some of the figures, it would sure be difficult to notice the sculpting underneath. So, combine those first bad impressions with the fact that young kids just don't seem to "get" Indy (yeah, it was the second biggest film this past year, but the toys sat on shelves till the figures hit 3 bucks recently, and they're still moving slowly with a few character exceptions), and you end up with the problem I'm having now. I have wanted a Short Round figure to stand next to my Indy figure forever (a desire carried over from my original Kenner Indy figure), and it seems those Temple figures are only going to be available online now, for those of us in the states, at outrageous scalper prices since the first couple of rounds of figures sold so poorly. And to add insult to injury, the Elsa and Colonel Vogel figures have been in extremely short supply since day one. Man, I want an Elsa!

Anyways, as I searched fruitlessly for Elsa and the Temple figures this weekend at the big U.S. retailer who recently cut the price on these figures down to clearance levels, I did increase my total collection count to 14 (hope to add more before they're gone, too), as my second main focus was on Raiders of the Lost Ark figures, which I'd bought none of yet. I ended up with a nice number of Raiders characters, including an Indy with a good paint job and a decent Marion also, plus the figure I'm going to talk about here, the Cairo Swordsman.

You may remember this guy from the famous scene in which Indy responds to flashy swordsmanship with a well placed bullet. If you managed to get the jacketless, sweaty Indy figure (I still need that one myself, he's become one of the tough ones to find), set him up with the Cairo Swordsman for a great display! As I mentioned before, these figures have great detail, but you definitely have to check out the paint jobs and find a good one. The same figure can look amazing or awful depending on how the face is painted. The Cairo Swordsman is not as articulated as some of the figures. He can still be posed well, but with the stiff plastic of his robe, there was little point in making his knees bend, so they simply don't, nor do his ankles. He is also rather shy in the accessories department, as he only comes with his sword and secret artifact. Each figure comes with a different artifact in a paper crate, though they seem to be sized for 6 inch action figures like the one the Disney theme parks recently started carrying.

Regardless, the Cairo Swordsman is a great Indy villain figure to add to your collection. He's not a major character, but he's from one of the most memorable scenes and is really nicely sculpted here. A good choice for play or display as opposition to the greatest movie hero of all time!

Actually, I was very satisfied the service. The merchant's action was very quick, I am in Hawaii but I received this product in 3days after I ordered it. It was a x'mas gift for my boyfriend who loves "Dallas Cowboss" but the reaction of him was pretty bad when he opened the gift wrapping. THere is literally nothing from the horror/action/sc-fi on this game so unless you watch crappy chick flicks you probally wont get many questions right. The main problem however is not the ganes content but it's performance. It constantly freezes when in the middle of a game which is beyond frustrating, the load times take forever, some of the rounds are braindead and pointless. I got this for my girlfriend b/c she's obsessed w/ Pirates. I never played it, but she did with her family, and they enjoyed it. I am hooked on the whole Shout About... series. It is extremely fun to play with friends and family. The only downside is that if you have played any of the other discs, they use the same movies, singers, etc on all the discs. They just use different scenes,etc. But it's still a good game to own. My 5 year old nephew asked for Optimus Prime for Christmas and I found it on Amazon. The "new" Hasbro Transformers Cyber Stompin' Optimus Prime Action Figureproduct arrived in a timely manner but the item was dusty-not just a little, but a lot! We had to use a dry paint brush to get into all the little cracks. It also had little paint marks on it from another toy. I was VERY displeased and would have returned it for a full refund if I didn't have to ship it to my newphew so he would get it in time for Christmas.

I suspect a lot of people have bought this for their kids, remembering their own sturdy (perhaps slightly hot) Lite Brites. This is not that Lite Brite.


Pros:
- Small, compact. Won't take up much space, and it would travel well.
- Case for pegs--excellent idea. (See cons)
- Battery-powered--don't have to put the kid near an outlet. Use rechargeables, of course.
- It's a Lite Brite!

Cons:
- If you don't open the peg case carefully, pegs go everywhere. It only took me a couple of tries to learn how not to spray pegs, but I don't think my four-year-old will take the same care.

I had my eye on this toy at Comic-Con last summer, but I didn't have time to chase down access to the Hasbro store on the show floor. This was a Christmas present this year - and it's Awesome. It's in perfect condition and I'll probably keep it in the box. Love that Marketplace has CC Exclusives avail past each Comic-Con. Very cool.

My two grandsons, ages 6 and 8 loved the Rubiks Magic. I bought each of them one. One of the Rubiks Magic cubes broke within a few minutes of play. The second one lasted a few days longer. It broke while their father was playing with it.
I should have listened to the reviews that I read before I made the purchase.

I bought this chair for my 1.5 year old back in February. Three months later it started leaking air and was useless. Amazon was great and sent me a replacement chair in 2 days. Two months later the replacement chair is no longer holding air. My daughter is 25lbs and just shy of 2 years old. She doesn't use the chair on a daily basis and when she does use it she sits and watches tv. She doesn't jump on it, no older kids have every used it. There is no reason why this chair should be deflating on its own. It seems to be defective by design and I would not recommend it to anyone. Toy has hidden instructions about what type of food it can have. This size can only have the juice type meals and not the other baby alive food formula as that is for the "larger doll". This was not known until the other products were purchased as it was a recommended item for this baby. The outside box does not mention this fact also, so beware for this size of baby alive doll only buy the juice formula. I've played Scattergories since it first came out in the 80s. I'm glad they finally put new categories in the new edition. Also, I found a way to work around that annoying loud ticking timer. This game was purchased for my 3 yr. old granddaughter and 4 yr. old grandson. This game includes counting spaces dots on dice and choosing cards. We had much fun with this game. Because of my grandchildren's attention span, we pooled the cards we earned. Then, when someone could touch the magic slipper, we all decided which card to turn over.
