Bought this from Borders for 90 bucks (Christmas vouchers ;), as I figured it was time to get a nice, big, deluxe monopoly set.
Never have I been more disappointed. The board is smaller than the regular, fold-out monopoly board. The cards are smaller, but the worst feature is the tiny, cheap, single sided money supply, of which there is not enough to even distribute the starting cash! This version even comes with different allocation rules to make up for it!
We didn't even make it twice around the board, before giving up - its cheapness being so infuriating. You just feel stupid holding the tiny notes.. Monopoly is all about holding wads of cash. The Onyx edition doesn't deliver.Get more detail about Monopoly - Special Silver Onyx Edition.
