My daughter begged for Smores for almost a year and we surprised her with it last Christmas. She is still on love with her, she talks about her to strangers we meet and can't wait to get home to her after school. Everyday Smores has a new accessory and a new adventure. My daughter and smores will be rounding up stuffed animals one day and then the next she will be a circus horse with a hat. She has brought my daughters imagination to a all time high. I would not say this toy has an educational edge but it encourages the imagination play. I only gave three stars on durability because the neck is not as strong as I would like it to be. With my daughter and now son playing and climbing on the horse daily it is not broken but just she just seems like her head flops sideways a little more than it used to. I am sure that is due in part by our Smores wearing a miniature horse halter and lead rope...I can only imagine my daughter trying to "lead" her. I know the price is high but I would buy this for her again in a heartbeat. This is without a doubt her favorite toy and one I hope she looks back on her childhood fondly. My daughter is now 4 and an avid horse lover. I would recommend this one to anyone who has a horse lover in their life but can not afford to get them the real horse they want so badly.
