I honestly don't know how people gave this thing such good reviews. My 5 year old son and I are almost in tears trying to get this thing to work. The mouth doesn't stay open that well, and when it does stay open, it takes a one-in-a-million shot to get it to close the mouth and eject the ball. 99% of the time, the ball gets stuck inside the mouth and you have to go over, try to get it to prop up and retrieve your ball manually.
On the off chance that you do get the perfect shot that triggers the ball return, the gator's mouth is still closed and you have to open it before you can take another shot, which seems to defeat the purpose of the ball return!
Thought this would be a fun indoor game for the kids when the weather got cold, instead it's way more frustration than it's worth! Ours will probably end up in the trash because we already tossed the box and packaging :(Get more detail about Gator Golf.
