We got this set for our 6 year old for christmas, she loves it(even though, from parents' point of view, I don't quite understand why a few pieces of plastic cost so much). Play-Doh was invented in 1956, one would think that after over 50 years of having a company that they would have an excellent Quality Assurance department, however, after purchasing this toy, we have learned that they do not. You would think having been in business for this amount of time that play-doh would have perfected every option on such a toy, ease of use to a 3+ year old, easily cleanable for parents, but this isnt the case.

The toy, once put together is a nightmare to store and clean. It's also a challenge to even make the actual ice cream, it's ridiculous how much strength that you need to push the play doh through the holes to create the ice cream effect, and the actual concept of even getting in there is far above a 3 year old (which the box recommends.)

So disappointing. Received for Christmas, we were all excited to play with this fun new toy. However, the pegs are very hard to push through the black template paper (virtually impossible actually) and once they are in they don't stay. We tried to create our own designs w/out using paper but the pegs are even less stable that way and fall out immediately. The toy does not function properly at all and is useless! Unfortunately this toy was a gift and I do not have the receipt or I would return it for a refund. As other reviewers have written, Connect 4 is a wonderful, old fashioned, educational, and most importantly fun game. But this particular set (the zip up travel version) is much better than the tabletop sets that are today made very cheaply. In those sets, the bottom often falls down, allowing the pieces to fall out mid-game. I love these Gravity bots and we have the whole collection. If your looking for easy transformation for young kids this is the one to buy. They actually are neater looking in person. I got this game for my daughters (now 10 and 14) and it is a riot! You do have to have 3 or 4 players to play but you can't beat the fun! Even Dad, who does NOT play games joined in on this one. The concept is very simple, you try to get matches, if you do you hit your hand down (last one down picks a card) if you don't you can try to fake out the others so you have to pay attention. First, I have to say that I loved playing Operation when I was a kid. Now I love playing with this pen as the big kid I am at 42.

My sister got this for me as a birthday present, because she knew I loved playing this game. I am so glad she bought this for me, as I really enjoy how cute it is; and it is also a challenge to try to get all the bones out with the tiny tweezers without getting "buzzed".

I would not purchase this for a child with the expectation that they will not break either the tweezers or the little plastic bones which are attached to the interior of the pen with what looks like fishing line. I have had my pen, intact, for the past 3 years. I don't try to pull the bones out too far, or pull out the tweezers too far from the top of the pen. I agree with the other reviewer who said that adults would probably appreciate it more than kids.

I also think the pen itself is a nice writing instrument. Not the best quality but pretty good. I use it at my desk daily.

Overall, I think this is a fun pen, and I would recommend it to any other big kid out there who enjoys the game.

I am a scrabble fan and the only thing with this particular game is that the board is too flimsy. Otherwise, it is a great table top decoration and it will be used when traveling. Better than the tiny travel scrabble. But as I said, the board is not good because it folds and does not lay flat when using.

After reading the reviews for this toy on Amazon my wife and I bought it for our 11mo old son. Once we assembled it and he started playing problems started popping up. It seems durable, but time will tell.

I have three children 2,5,and 6. We have several board games. This one is perfect for my son who is almost 2-1/2. Perfect means that it is challenging and educational for him. I bought this game as a gift, and haven't yet heard how the recipient likes it, but after looking over the game myself, I am rather satisfied with what it is.

This particular version is a few years old and you can tell in the design, but it still functions like a Jeopardy game. The setup is quite straight forward, and while resetting in between rounds might be a slight hassle, overall it's rather user-friendly. My football fanatic son (12 years old) loves these things - we have them for a few other teams as well. They are not big enough for him to play with outside with his friends, but they are PERFECT for inside.

When we watch football, for 10+ hours every Sunday during football season, he wants a football in his hands at all times, and he loves to toss it up and down as he watches, or have a few passes with us during commercials. This ball is great for that because it's small so he can hold it in one hand and it's soft so I don't mind him tossing it in the house.

As I said, we have 3 or 4 of these so I can address durability: They last about 2 years and then they start peeling and crumbling. I think $15 is money well spent on 2 years of fun.

A word about price: Occasionally, and randomly, amazon will have one team or another's ball priced at $85 which is ridiculous. Of course I don't recommend buying these at that price!

This version of the Monopoly game is Ok. The game pieces are excellent, the board is fair and the chance and other cards are quite cute. However, the money is small and there is not enough of it. It doesn't allow for that many players to play. The tin container is very efficient. For what I paid for it, it's darn right excellent. I paid $11.00 at Toys R Us several years ago during Christmas time. I couldn't believe it. It may have been a mistake on the store's part, Because everywhere else I looked it was about 50.00 bucks. This is a really cute game for the younger elementary set. My 6 year old and I can get through a game in 30 minutes, which is perfect for before dinner, or while his sister is in the bath. You MUST have seen the movie to play as it requires players to imitate characters from the movie. The "battles" are a matter of rolling dice to match pictures and it is very easy set up and very easy to play. My 3 year old was occupied with rolling the dice for me.

One thing you need to watch, though, and it bothers me a little, is that some of the impersonations require players to re-create bodily functions such as burping. Trying to teach my children manners takes a backseat here. They get off track and have silly little burp-fests going on. It can get tiring.

All in all, it is a good game and a perfect way to fill a half hour and spend some fun time with your kid!
