Big Trouble

วันเสาร์ที่ 9 พฤษภาคม พ.ศ. 2552

The game itself is pretty simple but correlating to the old Trouble game, it's nothing like it - which I was disappointed in. Love the original Trouble game--- this game has a twist of it's own but not that difficult.Buy Big Trouble!

U-Dance

It was fun however you have to take the foot sensors off in order for another person to play with you. FYI don't let the dog in the room b/c he will want to play and mess you up. It happens every time we play, the dog walk right in front of the TV so the game cant read you movements.Buy U-Dance!

Hasbro Nerf Dart Tag - 2 Player Set

My son and grandson love to play tag with this toy because it doesn't hurt like playing paint ball does. Buy Hasbro Nerf Dart Tag - 2 Player Set!

Hasbro Littlest Pet Shop Game

I dont think this game comes with the best directions, I still have questions about how to play. Pieces appear to be durable though. If you have a child who enjoys littlest pet shop and is within the recommended age range for the game they will probably enjoy it. But you most likely wont. Buy Hasbro Littlest Pet Shop Game!

Perfection Fun On the Run Game

วันพฤหัสบดีที่ 7 พฤษภาคม พ.ศ. 2552

Game is smaller than expected - good for travel size I suppose. The timer in no way gives you enough time to complete by yourself. Not a bad time killer though.Buy Perfection Fun On the Run Game!

Littlest Pet Shop Hideaway Haven Game

We bought this game for our 6 y.o. daughter who loves anything Littlest Pet Shop. We have to play this game with her every night before bed time. It teaches about taking turns, memory skills, etc... We are very pleased with this purchase and recommend it to others.Buy Littlest Pet Shop Hideaway Haven Game!

Ants in the Pants Cootie Games

วันพุธที่ 6 พฤษภาคม พ.ศ. 2552

My 3-year-old daughter couldn't wait to rip this game out of the box and play. Unfortunately, flicking the ants into the pants was a lot harder than it looked. After 30 minutes we were frustrated by trying and gave up. Later that night, my dad came over and gave it a try. This is a guy who shoots skeet in his spare time - he should know a little bit about aim and trajectory - but after 15 minutes, Grandpa gave up too.

We finally had a little bit of success when we threw away the cardboard dog that goes into the pants and just started chucking (not flicking) the ants at the empty pants. But, even with that, it's a still a game we rarely play.

I'd suggest skipping this one and purchasing the much more fun, much less frustrating Don't Break the Ice by the same company. Buy Ants in the Pants Cootie Games!

Noodleboro Picnic Basket Manners Game

The Noodleboro picnic basket manners game is a good game to teach kids about good manners. Kids have to remember to keep saying "please" and "thank you". It helps to establish good manner through repetition of saying those words. The game rule is simple. It's ok for a three year old kid but a little boring for a five or six year old.Buy Noodleboro Picnic Basket Manners Game!

Battleship Torpedo Attack Game

The guys were a bit put off by a broken part, though their dad was able to fix it. The shipper offered a replacement part if necessary. Still, the guys had a blast.Buy Battleship Torpedo Attack Game!

Hulk Smash

My four year old loves this. If you have a boy who enjoys smashing things (and what boy doesn't), this game will be a big hit. Just be warned that you will be asked to play it often, and there is a lot of prep work involved before you can start the game. Also, one round took three of us around 45 minutes to complete. If you're not patient with prep work and don't like a game that can be drawn out, this might not be for you. Buy Hulk Smash!

Clue Express

วันจันทร์ที่ 4 พฤษภาคม พ.ศ. 2552

My bright 9-year-old granddaughter and I enjoyed playing this game but found the directions confusing at first. Other relatives later joined in but felt the board game itself to be more entertaining; however, there was some educational value to logging in "clues" about categories, clues that were sometimes harder to come by than in the full game set. The compact nature of the pieces adds to the usability in situations with limited space. Clue ExpressBuy Clue Express!

Clone Wars Galactic Heroes Obi-Wan

Let me start by saying I have no children but have been a Star Wars collector since the start.

The game play is simple as you'd expect. Turns consist of rolling the die and moving on the board. The spaces tell the you to draw a new card or fight. The "fighting" involves each player secretly selecting a card from their hand and then revealing them with the higher card winning. Each character also has some "special" cards in their deck that can do various things like drawing extra cards.

Your character's health is shown by six, two-sided tiles that make a picture of the person. If you lose a fight you flip one piece over to the damaged side. Once all six tiles are damaged, you lose.

From a collector's standpoint I'd say you're better off spending your money on the figure packs if you like Galactic Heroes. I think the 2 figures in the game are straight repacks, so nothing new there. The game board does make a nice little are to display your figures though! The other components are decent and seem like they'd stand up to repeated play. I imagine young kids would probably enjoy the game a few times and would play with the figures outside the game.

It could be made into a travel game without needing the board and figures with a little rules revision.Buy Clone Wars Galactic Heroes Obi-Wan!
